E300D Auto 1995M - Smokey?

I have just test driven one of the above models it has done 152K MBSH until 130K it drove and sounded ok,but when I was following it there was a definite blue smoke haze [not a lot but it was there] would this model be multivalve [24v] and what do you think re smoke. thanks in anticipation, Peter.

If the car starts from cold and sounds ok then it is probably alright.
Have a compression test performed on the engine when cold. You need at least 400psi.
150k is not a mileage to be worried about.  The smoke might be valve guide seals or a blocked breather.

This is a multivalve engine.
