E300TD Transmission oil cooler pipes

Anyone have any experience of changing rusty rigid oil cooler pipes, the ones that run along the front crossmember, underneath the radiator on a 1997 E300TD! Any recommended suppliers or is it a main agent visit!

These pipes are only £12 & £22 for the 124 version from the dealer so cant imagine them being much dearer for the 210.

Getting them off might be the hard part.

I had mine replaced by an indie earlier this year. Can't remember the cost but it wasn't a lot (less than £100 including parts and VAT).

Thanks for that guys, priced them today, £11 and £22 +VAT. not too bad I thought. Going to have a go at replacing them myself. Watch this space!

Do not try and save the tranmision fluid, now is the time to take off the gearbox sump and change the filter and refil with new fluid, Its all for the best.
