E320, audio 50 APS, prefitted for COMAND

Folks,
I am thinking of swapping my S320 for E320 (2003) avantgarde
It has audio 50 APS withc CD nav system, prefitted for COMAND, could some one far more knowledgeable than me ( that wont be hard!) explain the audio 50 APS with CD nav systems benefits/drawbacks. Is it any good or will my "tom-tom" do a better job ?

Depends on what you want. Audio 50 (got one) is as good as the info which is fed into it.

If the disk is up to date then it's a nice piece of kit. Doesn't handle post codes, but good with addresses.

Tom Tom possibly better due to the support & updates? (And availabilty of aforementioned)

Just acquired alll the speed camera bits for loads of systems. Guess what? No MB stuff
