I wonder if any one can help, the cruise control works when it wents, sometimes it works for a couple of miles then switches off. When you ressume it feels like it pulses as if trying to work and may take 6 or 7 attempts to ressume properly but doesn't last long before stopping again. Sometimes while trying to set the cruise it does the same, pulses like its trying to work but wont set. Any clues??? Thanks in advance.

Cruise solution
Re your cruise control problem, I had a one off problem with my c-class cruise control which was cured by the merc garage replacing or resetting something in the computer. However, I have had problems in the past with other cars when it was only a problem with a loose connection on the brake lights as they are part of the cruise circuit. It's worth checking all the brake lights work and checking the wiring connections and only takes a few minutes.
