I Have A Major Problem With The Inside Of Both Front Tyres Wearing Out.
I Have Had The Opto-plus Wheel Alignment Done Twice, They Showed Some Adjustment Required.
On The Last Occasion I Had 4 New Tyres Fitted And The Opto Done The Following Day.
The Adjustment Has Been Carried Out By Mercedes, After 3500 Miles The New Tyres Are Starting To Wear.

I Would Appreciate Any Comments.

If the alignment is ok, I would suggest raising your tyre pressures a few pounds.
It sounds like its running too soft. The lower the pressure the more the outer edges will wear, the higher, the more the centre will. I believe (perhaps wrongly) that wheels are angled in at the top slightly to improve handling, which would explain why the inner edge is wearing faster than the outer.
I usualy adjust the pressures to even out the tyre wear over time.

I have to admit I run my tyres up to 36/38psi, I found less was resulting in scrubbing the shoulders. I am getting up to 40k out of them so I cant be too far off. The front of the 320CDI is very heavy. My original tyres were Michelins and they wore heavily at the outer edges, the Pirelli P6000 have been used since, on third set of them on front without any problems.
