I'm looking to buy a 2004 E320 CDi Avantgarde, but I don't want the euro4 model because it drops the mpg to 36. How do you identify the euro4 models?

I think the only difference is that the euro 4 has a diesel particulate filter.

Hope this helps

Is anyone aware of a website that you can enter a reg number or VIN number into to confirm whether a car is a euro4 or not ?

The reason I ask is that I may well be aquiring my car from a dealer who buys from auctions. I'd like to be fully informed before I purchase the car.

Some may say, well don't buy from him, however, he should be able to source me a 04 or 54 plate 80k E320CDi avantgarde for around £13.5k, including a years warranty.

Also, what is Nano paint from 2004 onwards ?

Try this site it doesn't give you euro spec but it gives you the co2 emissions.
Hope this helps
