E320 cdi noisey on tic over

My320 cdi is a little noisey on tic over it has done 89000 miles it has been recomended i get injectors done ?any ideas

If power output and fuel consumption are up to par I would use an injector cleaner next time the tank is low on fuel..sometimes these engines can seem noisy, but i think it is characteristic of the cdi to sound noisy at times. change the fuel filter after using the injector cleaner .. and I think supermarket fuels cause a lot of problems ..

I wouldn't bother doing anything with the injectors unless fuel consumption is up, and you see clouds of smog every time you drive.

Injectors...

So far I am at 140k, never had to touch injectors, glowplugs replaced at about 65k and still ok. never had to have any engine work done. Make sure though to change transmission fluid, originally it was to be sealed for life now its recommended I think at about 65k....
