Hi all,
I have a E320 coupe ('95) and would like to remove the rear bumper to install some parking sensors that I've bought. Could someone please tell me how I go about this? Any photos or diagrams would be great.
Thanks.

Your Mercedes
2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
Open boot
remove oval holder on right in boot recess, 1 screw
Pull side covering out from below center covering
remove the 3 nuts and washer along back
With a second person the bumper can be slid off the guide rails

Malcom - Thanks for that, off to try it now.

Sooper coop - It's a dark Green one I'm afraid, but maybe looks black at night. And yes I do! Where are you?

I used to live near Weybridge station, but friends live in Camden Cottages just off Glencoe Road, down the alley as if you were going to the ship.

I often park in Mount Pleasant, its a silver 300 coupe. soon to be an SL, but I havnt started sawing yet ;-)
