E320 MB radio/CD player

The volume on my radio/CD adjusts itself upwards to full volume requiring me to constantly turn it down. Does anybody have any ideas as to cause and cure please? Thanks

The radio had an auto loudness control that adjusted the volume dependent upon external noise - you could look for the settings and see if you can disable that and see if it stops getting louder
