I have changed my battery My car was locked I opened the front door with key,
Opened rear door,
Took down rear seat,
Opened boot from inside,
Installed new battery Now my tailgate will not lock it's self!!!
Tailgate closes by pressing the red button But not locking itself at all
Has soft shut so it should lock it's self
So annoying cannot find a garage in the area to take a look at my vehicle
And cannot find online help.
Has anyone else experience this problem?

If it was me , I would be looking at what I moved to open the boot from the inside as the cause of the fault . Did you move it back correctly ?

If you press the central locking when the boot is open does the lock itself unlock and lock ?
