Hello

I have the above alloys and they are nice and polished

I had an insodent this week and ended up curbing 2
i went straight to mercedes and ordered 2 new alloy wheels

I have put them on the car and they are totally different to the other 2 i have

they dont look polished anymore they look just like normal alloy wheels

is there 2 different types i just noticed properly today when the sun was on them and they looked grey i called mercedes but the parts department had closed

any ideas

Sounds odd - I thought the Sport had polished rims. Maybe there is a 'painted' option too, but MB should've ordered these against your chassis number so you should in theory have received what was fitted to your car originally. Take them back.

Do you have the name of the wheels or the part number

hello

problem is i bought these from mercedes so they dont match my chassis number :-(
i have just called mercedes and they want me to take a wheel off but cant refund me for the £465.00 i paid for the other 2 alloys :-(

I need to find a registration of a car with these wheels on or take the wheel off which i cant be bothered to do today but i may have to

Ill keep you posted

Can you at least post pictures of both sets? Before you approach the MB parts department you need to understand:

1. whether the said alloys are standard or were fitted as an optional extra or restrosectively?
2. whether the part was order from you VIN no. or whether you simply asked for "07 Sports Alloys". This places liability either with you or MB.
3. when you ordered were you provided with a list of alloys available?

Well I got this sorted out
There are two different types of the sport alloys one polished one not
Mercedes gave me the polished alloys I went away took the other ones off my car swooped them and took them back
Suprised at this I don't think any other dealer would have considering it was my fault.
