E320cdi boost problem

I have a 00 e320 cdi with 290000 miles on it. Yesterday it lost power and i have since discovered that the wastegate on the turbo is stuck shut and will not move at all. the vaccum pipes/valves are ok. it is boosting over 2bar. It is not smokey but way down on power.

Anybody experience this before? Any solutions or suggestions would be much appreciated......
