E320CDI - Number plat lights, boot won't open

Hi,

Anyone come across this problem on E211, I have 3 malfunctions on dashboard.

Rear Left Number plate light Out
Rear Right Number plate light Out
Third brake light on boot Out.

Also I can't unlock the boot with the button on the key which is a real pain !
I am guessing something has gone to affect 3 items all in the boot lid.

Any idea what to look for, I have checked fuses and bulbs and all OK.

sounds like a rear sam fault, use your blade key to open boot!!

Hi yep, I have EXACTLY the same problem on my E270 CDI Avantgarde, what is a rear SAM Fault??

if you go to ebay & type mercedes sam it gives some info & photos .hope it helps

signal acuitision module, rear control unit which controls rear lights, fuel gauge, locking and other differnt items!!!!
