Hi
Went to put the roof up on the car as it had started to rain, and it refuses to work.
I can hear the servo if I put the handle to open but nothing when I put it the other
way, the windows do not drop or anything. I've checked the boot and the cover.
all seem to be in order. any ideas much appreciated its a 15 plate E350.
thanks in antisapation.
Gary

The boot separator might be in place but still not closing the micro-switch. Does the dash warning advise you to close the boot separator?

WD40 isn’t a great lube, invest in some proper contact cleaning lubricant.
Pleased you found the fault

WD40 in fact is bad it collects crap, within a couple of months WD-40 turns into a gooey substance that attracts all kinds of dust and dirt.
WD40 even think so and make this;
