I just missed out buying one of these today. 16 plate in white looks the business. Any e400 owners on here care to share their experiences of the e400. Cheers .

unlucky pal , there are a few 400 powered cars and i believe they are well liked and very tunable

Probably my next car! There are a few 3.5l models out there but that one looked good, If I can find one with Pan roof, HK system, Memory pack and reversing camera; In the righy colour/interior combo - I'll snap it up, Then get it remapped.

Nice machine but I'm not a fan of all the chrome they are using on the splitter and diffuser....looks ott to me - I'd prefer black (my splitter is white and I keep playing with the idea of getting it changed to black).

On my Brilliant Blue the chrome splitter is quite striking, I like it

If you are spending £20k+ buy with the 9spd gearbox it’s much better than the 7spd

If you are spending £20k+ buy with the 9spd gearbox it’s much better than the 7spd

I'll second that, the 9spd is light years ahead of the 7 (which I had on my SLK 350 R172). It was awful. The 9 is great.

I'm not exactly sure what the exact numbers are but it always surprises me when I'm on the motorway in 'CV' mode and look at the RPM needle and see that it is barely off the bottom and I'm cruising at 70-80 mph. When I point it out to my wife, she rolls her eyes......However, the torque curve on that engine is quite impressive. Very steep and flat across the rev range.
