My 1999 E430 has an irritating problem that I have no joy in getting fixed. The engine will only rev to approx 4500 rpm in 3 / 4 / A. Red lines freely in 1 or 2. Top speed is 120 but biggest impact is in overtaking where it runs out of grunt between 60 and 90 in the lower gears due to not going above 4500rpm.
Has had usual array of sensors changed.... :-(
