So still going over car wheels away for refurbishment one has a slight buckle so thats getting sorted new tyres turned up and waterpump and thermostat so i usually use prestone coolant?? Thoughts on that aswell please also new belts but wanted to know does anyone recommend a particular atf fluid??? Keep seeing red or blue???? No particular brands mentioned??? Oh i ordered a atf dipstick and any particular atf filter i should look at??? And just one more thing rear diff oil change??? Again any particular oil I should us??? Sorry for loads of questions

The only thing I’d say on the subject of coolant…
These are getting on a bit now, and there are two rubber seals between the engine block and the front timing cover. If you take the waterpump off, don’t leave it standing too long before refitting the bolts as they hold those seals pinched tight. Also I’d try to use the same brand of coolant it’s become used to, just in case those rubber seals don’t like the change. It’s a large task to replace those seals…

You are on the red ATF. The blue version is for 722.9 with stop/start. It’s a lower friction type.

and the aft dipstick will be too long…have a look at how to use it and take the readings, car upto working temperature and running in P etc…
