E55 Front Brake Pads

Just got my '98 E55 MOT'd and the guy who did it said my front brake pads were "on the limit". Has anybody tried to do this job themselves? I have done it on several cars and bikes but I have no idea about the E55. How hard is it? Can anybody suggest a source for the parts?

The pads are no problem to change,,basicly the same as any other car,,

You can get the pads at eurocarparts or any motor factors,,hope this helps.

Do the calipers push back or do they need to be wound?
