E55 W210 help

Hoping to see one of these at the weekend and I would just like a bit of advice as to what to look out for. Its a couple of hours drive from my house so cant really get my local indy to check it over. I have done plenty of forum reading and my checklist is this:

Rust - esp crossmember and top of the front suspension stuts
It says full MB history but i need to check when/what service is next
check all goodies/electrics
front brake discs
check when spark plugs were last changed
no noise from gearbox

Anything else that is specific to this car that i need to look out for?

Any help much appreciated guys!

Looks like you have done your homework, do not forget the inside edges of the door and around the wheel arches, listen for any knocks on the suspension or creaking

Bought an e55 6 months ago.Fantastic car!Same as any car though,things can go wrong,cats £2000 each for example.All you can do is check her over,if aok,get a warranty asap from warrantyworks

Thanks for posting that link Andy, I see that a cat for my E300 td is only £239, when you consider that it includes half of the exhaust system its really good value!
