I have a SL350 2004 model where I am seeing some oil in the cooling fluid.

I need to remove the Front Engine Case to try and find what the problem is, is there an easy way to do this ? I have been repairing the car and the Front Engine Case has been replaced, and prior to me replacing it, the oil was not there, but as the engine has now been totally re-assembled and refitted into the car, is there a way to check all this easily ?

Alternatively, is there a better way of finding where the oil in the cooling fluid is coming from ?

Thanks.

I would have thought the rad leaking was a good place to start

No, the rad is fine, it's new and it's not leaking any water on the floor.

It's something in the Front Engine Casing.
