I am having the common injector leaking issues on my Vito 110CDI. My local indy has quoted me £500-£600 but says he has a tool that will remove the injectors but also break them at the same time and if he has to use this i'll need to replace the injectors. This got me thinking, if he use this tool it must cut down on labour massivley. and i can get a pair of injectors off ebay for under £200. From what i can gather there isn't a problem with not replacing ll theinjectors at once.
But is finding the corect ones as easy as I think? Is it a case of buying anything that looks about right and is labelled for my vehicle? or have subtle changes been made over time which mean i am looking for a very specific part? I have the merc part numbe for the injecotrs for my van but all the ones on ebay are listed with a bosch part number, and i don't know how to find out the bosch part number for my van as the bosch website didn't seem too useful for it and i'm not to keen on ringing merc again as they only just gave me the mercedes part number. really, I'm looking for advice on how to work out what the bosch part number for my injectors is, or just a simple "yes, they havn't changed just buy some 110cdi injectors" sortof thing would be nice
Thanks, Bill
