EC Light on all the time on w208

Help!. The EC light on the aircon is on all the time so no cold air and wont turn off. Does this mean a temp sensor or a regas or something more complicated.

Any help massively appreciated!

It is not listed on a 208 as being a common sensor , I think that it has to be plugged into STAR and any indie can do this

Thanks television, seems to clear after holding down the EC and residual heating button until strange numbers appear, then turn ignition off/on and hey presto it works! leave the car for a while then the whole procedure has to be done again, weird!

Just doing a further check and for.

Air conditioning sometimes does not work = remove replace evaporator sensor

reset the error code and all seems to be well again, will keep an eye it though
