EC light - What is it?

I've read that the EC light on my 300 SL 09' is the economy setting and used to turn off the cooler.... So does that mean that my car does have Aircon or a condensor?

It doesn't seem to pump out cold air...

The EC light is the economy setting for the A/C system. So yes you have Air con. It may need an overhaul if it doesnt work.
