So after seeing a few people with the amazon auto I'm contemplating getting one, simply because my car is an older version which just has the CD player, radio and telephone Bluetooth only. There's not audio Bluetooth. I'd like to listen to Spotify through my car. I currently have a Bluetooth adapter in the glove box which isn't the best quality the sound is terrible. I like the idea of being able to jump in the car say alexa play my play list etc.
The only think putting me off is all the wires involved, there's a auxiliary lead which will go directly into the glovebox but I now need to root the power cable. I don't like the idea of wires everywhere or things attached to air vent I want my car to be free of junk.

They are good, you need lots of Mobile data, the unit is small so you can hide it and hide the wires as well

Does it come with USB power. In the glove box I only have 1 cable so I'm guessing I'd have to run the wire to near the centre console? Does it have a 12v power adapter

Think it is USB with a Cigarette lighter adapter

I have one of these in my glovebox

Within the space of a few minutes I have bought one. Got it for 31 Inc delivery. Place called GPS outlet. Not to have a look at the car to see the best way to get it in and hidden out of sight haha

They are great very sensitive, have mine tucked on the centre console so no wires on show and I can operate it at 70mph with the console closed and the roof down!

The added benefit is full Alexa control so at night on the way home I can turn on the outside lights, set the heating, turn on the TV and open the gates and garage door from the car by voice....

I think if you use "Auto mode" in the Alexa app then you can put the Echo Auto in the glovebox and control it that way
