E class W211 model saloon, Intrested to know weather anybody has retro fitted the rear window electric blind, is it possible to do, and if so whats involved. I have never seen this blind in a W211 myself, so don,t know how it operates and what it looks like, but I would appreciate anyones input.

As south as I can be Dave, just outside Eastbourne, East Sussex. would I take it that you have this rear window blind fitted to your 55. I have my car going into braybrooks shortly, for a parktronic and linguatrionic fitment, I E mailed them about this item, on the basis of taking the car apart for the forrmer, could they do the blind as well. They have not responded as yet, but on the basis that you have this item, do you think it would be a difficult, to retro fit, appeciate your thoughts, Regards Rick

I've just had a look at mine and its mounted in a formed recess in the parcel shelf. You can't see much from inside the boot as there is a steel cross member underneath the parcel shelf. Mines a bit redundant really as I've got privacy glass.
