Andy - sorry if I am being too sceptical but members with low numbers of posts with such a post are often connected to the business. If that is not the case then I apologise.Hi, idea if this is much of help to your issue, but I recently had my CL600 ECU remapped by Superchips on their rolling road and via various internet links to some guys in Germany and I'm
seriously impressed with the results, much more useable power
and torque curve, much better response especially during
'kick down' and the limiter has been removed.
Overall, I'd have no issue recommending them.
'Some' ECU require a 'piggy-back' module that sits ontop
of the standard chip (which, as stated, is to be avoided) but
not all.
If you can find a helpful chap at Superchips HQ, rather than
one of their UK dealers, they are more than happy to put
any car on their rolling road and see if they can generate
a 'bespoke' remap to specific driving styles etc.
Hope that's of 'some' use to you
Andy
