EDC light

my 2003 V220 cdi just came up an edc light on the dash.

it flashed to start with now it's on permanent.

seems to start and run ok at the moment

any clues guys?

Same engine as my van i believe, and my manual says this is fuel filter related and indeed when i have a slight air leak into my fuel filter a while back if i put my foot down in 1st or 2nd gear it would come on and stay on until i restarted. I can't really be more help than that i'm afraid, i ask more questions than i answer here, ask me one about acoustics/psychoacoustics.
