OK

On a less stupid note.

The power feed to the leccy aerial comes from fuse C.

Fuse C is present and intact.

There is no power at the connector under the aerial, nor at the areial itself.

Anyone know whether there is a connector which might be unmade somewhere in the supply chain?

Thanks

Tony

There are various types on aerials, if the radio only has one feed wire to the aerial, then there must be a relay within the aerial motor unit that reverses the voltage when no power is present. check that there is 12 volt on the control wire when the radio is on and zero when turned off, there should be a constant live feeding the aerial from the other connections.

Thats the way that I see it

Malcolm, I'm sure you are right.

I have the control voltage on/off with the head unit.

I dont have constant lve at the aerial, I do have it at the fuse box.

I've just run a constant feed from the battery, and the aerial makes sone whining noises, but nothing happens, so I think the aerial is ****ed.

Need to source a new aerial and a constant feed.

Still the car is running so well that I can be bothered with these little things.

On a TE 124 the power comes from fuse C terminal 30, that is all I have
