I have an '88 300D (RHD) with an inoperative driver's side (RH !) window. I have checked the switch and applied 12v to the switch socket motor connections and the motor draws current, but the window does not move. I guess the mechanism is seized/jammed? The manual says I need to lower the window to gain access to the lift mechanism bolt; any suggestions about how I should tackle this would be welcome.
