 Hi all,

I have blown a fuse or worse, somewhere & has rendered my electrics U/S.
I have removed the door card on my rear passenger door as the window is stuck down.
I have in front of me the feed plug into the window motor.

Black 3mm wire
Red 3mm wire
brown/white
green
yellow
blue

I have a spare battery, so could someone tell me how to power the motor up for me to raise the window please.

Thanks,

Bruce.

I managed to do it with a cordless drill 12V battery.

I'd bet the red and black are the motor connections.
Don't shoot if I'm wrong, but surely the others are control circuits.
You should know in half a second or so (before you burn anything out) if you had it right.
If the window winds down, then reverse the connections - good luck!

Hi,
Sorry about that, I was running around like a headless chicken! It was the two main 3mm cables (Red + Black) just connect +ve & -ve from the drill battery to the contacts on the motor. If the window goes the wrong way, reverse the polarity by swaping the cables over.

Hope this helps,

Bruce. (Mouldb)
