I have tested and found that the offside rear window motor on my 190E is faulty. My manual (Disc) tells me to firstly, crank the window completely down, but does'nt explain how this is done with a dud motor. Is there some way this can be achieved manually? Can anyone help?

it may be a relay issue or the micro switch in back handle. hope this helps.

I thik that you'll need to take the door card off in order to crank the window down.
It's normally the regulator pack that dies. I believe it's part of the motor, hence replacing that, but I'msure that I saw a thread on here a while ago about repairing the regulator.
