Electric window problem

After fitting a new battery my electric windows are not working properly. They go up and down ok if you keep your finger on the switch in the primary position but when tried in the secondary position they don't operate. I first thought a faulty switch but it is common with all 4 switches. Have I turned something off inadvertantly or does something need reset? regards AA

They need resetting, ignition in Position 2 and press and hold the switches in the open position and the closed position. You need to hold the switches down even after the windows have opened (& closed) for a few seconds.

10 sec to be precise, for each one, its a standard MB re set.
