My rear offside window sometimes gets stuck, I've checked the fuse and that seems ok, does it have a relay and if so where is it in a 190E 2.3 16v engine bay? :?:

Is it the switch that is failing?

Is the glass moving and suddenly stops.Continues moving only when you fiddle the switch?

No to both of those.
Both the front switch and door switch have the same problem.
They both work and when its time to close it - nothing.
After some time it seems to work so its a intermitent fault but before I start stripping the door down, I was wondering if it was either a relay or is it the motor itself.

try this one - it's worked for me and several others when a window develops an intermittent fault

open the door and peel back the rubber tube that the cables run through - check the condition of the wiring in there - bend them around whilst someone presses the window switch and see if the window works then - I've had a W123 and a W124 window fail because the live feed was broken - splice a new section of wiring in and it's solved the problem

Windows Fault

I have a similar problem with my electric windows.
BUT, It also happens with the indicators and the window wipers.

I think Andy is on the right track. The wires tend to break with opening and shuting doors over a long period. this is the problem people have with tailgates.
