HELP!! Please....
Having scanned the forum I see this is a common problem , but mostly the answers concern much younger cars. Since mine is a 1982 model with pretty basic electrical installations am I right in assuming it doesn't have memory issues which can be cured by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery?
The fact is that ALL 4 windows have decided to stop working, the two front ones in the down position so the car is insecure and open to the elements. This did happen once before with both offside windows but I later went back to the car and miraculously they worked again. This time no such luck.
I have checked the fuses (both rh and lh) and I've checked the central console switches. What could be the problem to cause all 4 windows to fail. Is there a relay anywhere?
All suggestions gratefully received.
