electric windows

98R E300TD drivers door electric window struggles to close can only achieve this by repeatedly tapping the switch any advice would be welcomed thanks

I have a E300TD R reg and, believe or not the drivers window did exactly the same thing last year! I ended up putting it in to the local dealers who re-aligned the window runners. Everything OK since then

I have a '98 R E430 and the nearside rear window did exactly the same thing, but I managed to correct it by 'wiggling it' from the outside while Mrs Pat operated the switch. I've tested it about a thousand times since and it works perfectly!

maybe thats what the dealer did to fix the other one too . Its amasing what a wiggle does ...
