Electric windows

I have recently noticed my windows are running slower than they used to. I think I see scratch marks from going up/down.

What gives?

They probably need lubricating, try some silicone spray around the rubbers/runners and some washing up liquid along the window /door top seal

Xtractorfan is right in that silicone spray should help. However, my son has a similar problem from time to time with his car and we have found that clear silicon grease (as sold by plumber's merchants) works well and lasts longer than the spray. Rub it well in to the vertical channels that the window runs in. A small tub costs peanuts and lasts ages.
