The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sesnsor 'element' gets coated with engine oil, thereby giving a wrong reading.

don't expect anyone to admit or agree, but as they are built for various markets from various factories, the components fitted are swapped for various quality iterations - in the old days it was dependent upon the brands position in market, now its generally country specific, based on how stupid the audience is

Middle East 18 months, as they will have swapped for another colour after 2 weeks, so it doesn't matter how long it lasts
UK fit the cheapest nastiest ones that will fail as soon as the very short warranty runs out
German / French market fit ones that lasts a year longer, primarily to show UK as an odd outlier and its not really a scam
USA fit budget ones and have to fix for new and extend warranty to 10 years when they get caught out
Russia fit ones that never go wrong

they have been playing this game for 20 years, so they know exactly how to engineer in various "random" failure modes that pop up inside a few months of each other (they had to do it as the American lawsuit's were getting more costly than engineering in multiple failure modes to get them off the scent). In the good old days of course the Japanese brands like Lexus used to know how to make them never fail, but they had to follow the herd as the planet wasn't being destroyed fast enough, that we could manipulate your life to a position of decline, at a rate the banking sector were comfortable with

its funny we all pretend the US as as thick as anything - but they spotted the scam and voted in a way forward in 2016 and are trying to sort the mess out for all of us - but that swamp is full of connected crooks fighting for their lives - and the marketing machine you call the News - is doing a great job with ones like the BBC keeping you all innocent and controlled

right to bear arms might be necessary - imagine if your government let lunatics in the schools and killed people - you might be compelled to give up your guns to keep things safe, like they have in UK, Australia, Canada (many other countries)

people need to step back and ask why do we have so many shooting's at schools, are those Americans too stupid to see the danger - or its we are too stupid to see they are quite happy to kill your children as often as it takes to get their way - And we will need the guns we no longer have

maybe people should look at the borough market incident where the offenders and the police got ready together before the play fight
or why even when today's youth are drugged out losers, too apathetic to notice their lives have been stolen - we still need to militarise police forces

No, we don’t. As soon as a police service is militarised it becomes an occupying army, and has thus lost its main source of power- the consent of the people. Go and read the Peelian Principles.

Wherever you see day to day police looking like a SWAT team, body armour, weapons, helmets and goggles etc., they have by definition already failed at their primary mission (prevention of crime) and have moved onto the first part in the corruption of power (enforcing the law upon the people).

the trouble is the definition changed 50 years ago - we were asleep at the wheel - and they have mostly landed the new mission

Now u guys kicked Me off again.!
I have been armed for near 3o Yr.
I have no issue with becoming so being difficult..(deters the chances) And vigorously followed up. But I object to UK policy where thugs are armed and don't give a shxte about law whilst those who do become victims look at gun crime statistics since Dunblane and look who allowed that guy to have gun. I currently own a berreta 9mm inox couger. A remington 700 30 06 and a beretta silver pigeon.12g I know what I am doing with them, and they are safely secured so why should someone say I cannot posess them.. I do not support any non military ownership of multi round automatic rifles. Or any other such firearm, sidearm for personnel protection is fine by me so long as control, checks at irregular intervals are maintained.

Unfortunately Dunblane argued with you, and won.

I agree with you btw, I used to be a very keen shot, and we now have the second most restrictive firearms laws in the world next to Japan.

It sure did. But my guns are in storage in Kenya. I have a limited chance to import into France thru a gun and hunting club. No chance in UK
And I no longer shoot wildlife anyway so disposing of rifle and shotgun, if need be won't hurt. But I will do all to hang onto 9mm.
Anyway guys u sure dragged me off topic!!!
