Electrical Gremlins - W202

Hi all

I have a 96 C200 petrol W202. Two little problems:

1. The wiper goes off on its own sometimes (it might be my imagination but it seems to do it more in hot weather). It's quite impressive sometimes when I have friends in the car and it starts raining, as they think it has a rain sensor!
2. The temp guage sometimes reads nothing, then springs into action after a while.

Any ideas?

Unplug the N10 relay,thats the large on in the fuse box, clean the contacts and lubricate with a good electrical switch cleaner, that should solve the wipers, give it a try
