i have a 98 e230 which has started to have electrical problems. Started with alarm sounding when it felt like it but i have sorted that out as i found the n/s door switch was not operating correctly when the door was shut. I now find that both front doors lost all electrical power on Saturday and the keys would not open the doors. I used the key and disconnected the battery for a few hours yesterday. All worked for a few hours but when i used the car this morning the power to the drivers door has goen again. I cannot use either the electric windows and the door courtesy lower light is not opertain. Any ideas would be appreciated

Damp weather can make the fuse contacts to go open circuit, due to corrosion.
Ideally replace but short term fix is to turn fuses in their holders.
