Hello. my '99 C43 has the following combination of electrical behaviors:
1. Sunroof opens, closes, rocks open, won't rock closed.
2. Keyless function will not roll down or up windows/sunroof
3. Front electric windows roll down when switches depressed part way, but not when depressed to the auto-rolldown or up position.
4. Central door locking works as designed using keyless key buttons, including programming and reprogramming two different locking sequence options. But dash locking switch only will unlock locks, has no impact when rocked to the locking position.
5. Interior lights (front and rear) go on as designed when first opening the door. However, after starting and driving car, they never turn off. Pushbuttons for both front and rear turn lights off, but doing the sequence again results in the same problem.
I have gathered the problem is likely the convenience or comfort relay? Does anyone agree or have other ideas? Also, can you advise as to the actual location of this in my car?
