Hi.

I recently posted a request for information regarding an electrical prblem with my 1997 e280 elegance. I am loosing power to my electric windows, seats and door mirrors. I have found that if I disconnect the battery and reconnect, the windows, seats and mirrors will work for a few days. After that, the will stop again and I have to disconnect/reconnect the battery. The windows will then only work with the rocker switches halfways pushed down. If I push the rocker switches hard down, they wont work!!

Is there a relay or an ECU that controls the windows, seats etc...

Please help as I am ****ed off with this problem

thanks

Andrew

all of this is controlled by the 'convenicance module' - well it is on my car...

in order to get the windows to work right you have to re-sync them so they know where to top is - usually done by pressing up and holding for 3 - 5 seconds - repeat for bottom.

as to why this module is up the swanny is anyones guess...
