We have a Mercedes E320 (R Reg). It hasn't been used very much in the past month or so.

Today I went to go out and opened my window. When I went to close it again about 5 minutes later I couldn't. I thought I should test the indicators and they were not working either.

I turned around and went back home and turned off the engine. When I restarted the car the electrics were working fine. So off I trundle on my journey - only to get to a roundabout and find my indicators were not working again!

I continued on to my destination (about 8 miles from home) and when I tried the indicators again they were working fine.

On the way home everything was fine.

When I went back out to the car to go out again a couple of hours later I couldn't unlock it. After standing by the car like a lemon for about 10 minutes it finally unlocked and everything worked fine whilst I was out and about.

I have just got home and am too frightened to lock the car in case I can't get in it again and am also worried about driving it again.

Can anyone offer any advice?
