I was thinking of installing a rear parking sensor into my MB and came across an electromagnetic type on Ebay. I guess I like the fact that installing the sensors does not require you to drill holes in the rear bumper it simply requires an aerial strip to be adhered to the backside of the bumper. Nor do the wires have to run through to the front of the car.

Anyone had any experience of this type?

Thanks in advance. :D:D:D

It seemed such a simple setup. There is only an audio emittor which sounds from a small speaker located in the boot and connected to the system via the reversing lights.:rolleyes:

I just contacted an autoelectricians for a quote and although they were pleased to perform the job they reported that they stopped selling the internal strip type parking sensor some years ago due to reliability issues and problems with false alerts in rain.

It all sounded too simple.:roll::roll:
