Elegance or Espirit

Hi everyone,
I need an advice on buying C class (W202 i think). Which model to buy? Elegance or Espirit? Elegance are a bit expensive. Do they have any variation in their engines? Or the difference is just some cosmetics on the body...Thanks for replies

Differences are purely cosmetic and suspension - engines, transmissions etc are the same. Elegance and Esprit (and Sport) were just trim levels. Elegance had softer suspension plus wood dash, leather wheel etc. The only Esprit I've seen had a plastic dash and lowered suspension.
I assume the elegance was more expensive when new.

Oh and Parts Master - please don't clog up threads with Ads. If you have anything useful to add then fine, but if not (as in this case) it's a guaranteed way to make yourself unpopular which is not a good thing if you're looking to sell things.
Instead, people are always posting, looking for cheaper alternatives to dealer prices and questions about part numbers. Stick to answering them.

Cosmetics is not matter, but will it possible to change suspension system to make it smoother? As far as I understand, Elegance's suspension is of better quality, isnt it?

I'm sure you could put elegance springs and shocks in. I suspect that's all the difference. Not so much better 'quality' but a softer ride.
