Do the Emission Sensor effects the performance of the car and why?

Any one has a pic for an emission sensor on CLK320 - 208?

Hello,

Yes it can affect it if tells the ecu the wrong info mate it could overfuel or underfuel this would affect the power! What symptoms do you have????
Why do you think you have a probelm with it?? I think on your car that you will have four lambda probes on your car one before ond one after the cat on each bank!!

Hope this helps a bit

Hiii,

Thanks for the information i got from you.Unfortunately when i bought the car i found out that the 1st owner had removed the Catalytic Converter because of the over heat in our region.So my car has no cat!!!!

While checking on diagnostic system i found out that i have an emission sensor fault B1.

Do you think that this is the main issue of not having the full power and performance of the car 100% all the time?

Do you have any pic for a CLK 320 emission sensor and the location of these parts?
