EML ON w209 2009 CLK350 Aventgarde

Hi, just purchased 2009 CLK350 cabrio and now EML is on - no discernible change in running, yet! Connected up iCarsoft MB v1.0 and two error codes recorded: PO172 and P0175 - something to do with mixture? Need i be worried Would? Would this be an easy fix for an Indy Merc specialist? Any advice welcome.

It could be an easy fix depending on what the exact problem is diagnosed.

Mixture (assumimng fuel/air) could be many things, filters (air, fuel) could be totally blocked, your fuel pump could be foo barred, you could have leak in an air pipe, your MAF could be dead........so you get the picture.

I dont think you need to worry (unless you suffer anxiety) but you need to get it fixed, the light comes on as an error is detected.

Everythings an easy fix, provided a) it is known what is in need of being fixed, b) how to fix what is in need

Mixture on a diesel?? Funny one. Diesels always have an excess of air unless a split hose or something. Is it blowing black smoke?
