Right, my friend drove through a puddle in his T reg 208d van and bent 3 conrods.
He got an engine from a customer of his and fitted it but it won't start.
I went round and finally got it going after easy starting the inlet but it wouldn't turn off after key had been removed.
After changing the diesel filter we can't even get it to start now. Diesel filter is full but no diesel getting from pump to injectors. Now will this be the vaccum pipes causing this issue as he ain't got a clue where he took them off from.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
