i have a 2000 clk430 and need to know how to remove the cover to replace my air filters. does it just pop off?...i am not sure. when i was feeling around i felt some thing that was like torx heads. am i suspose to loosen some bolts to get it off or just pop it off?

On a CLK320, just give it a good yank upwards on the front edge and then from the rear. There are a few spring steel clips that attach to various points thats all. To refit just position and push down so the spring clips re-latch.
