Engine cuts out when stopping - please help

I have an automatic ML350 which sometimes stalls when coming to a stop so the revs drop down and die. It has had a full diagnosis on star which said all is OK. there is no stutter before cutting out and when driving around, it appears to run with no problem.

It has a gas conversion which has been done professionally. We have changed one of the gas injectors which has resolved an issue with one of the cylinders (misfired and shut down the cylinder).

No codes when stalling either so a little perplexed. The plugs are all recent and the MAF is fine.

Please can anyone help me as it is driving me mad...

It sounds to me like some kind of fuel starvation problem with the fuel (either LPG or petrol) being restricted as the vehicle comes to a halt.

Ok...but how do you check this? Hopefully seems a simple enough question...

Try running the car switched on petrol only and see if you have the same problem.

Have you tried replacing the Crankshaft position sensor?
