engine management light

hi guys am currently experincing a prob with my 311 cdi sprinter. the engine managment light (the little glow worm) stays on nfor about 15 - 20 seconds after i start engine then goes out . it doesnt seem to affect performance but it is annoying to see it there . any suggestions or quick fix for it?

You have a fault in your engine diesel glow plug system, would strongly think you have 1 or more glow plugs which have failed. If so it would be a good idea to replace them all.
